Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refund requests work for Clear Margins Pro subscriptions purchased through Paddle.

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to paid Clear Margins Pro subscriptions. The free calculators do not require payment and are not covered by a paid refund process.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal, through Paddle subscription emails, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise shown in Paddle or required by law, access remains available until the end of the paid billing period.

3. First-purchase refund window

If Clear Margins Pro is not a fit, you may request a refund within 14 days of your first Pro subscription payment. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method.

We may decline refund requests connected to fraud, abuse, repeated refund behavior, or attempts to avoid subscription limits. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Renewal payments

Renewing subscriptions are generally not refundable after the first-purchase refund window. If you believe a renewal happened by mistake, contact support as soon as possible and include your Paddle order details. We may review recent accidental renewals case by case.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@getclearmargins.com with the email address used at checkout, your Paddle order number if available, and a short explanation of the request.

You may also request billing help through Paddle's buyer support channels if your receipt or subscription email points you there.

6. Processing time

Refunds are processed through Paddle. Once approved, the timing for funds to appear depends on Paddle, the payment method, your bank, and card network rules. Currency conversion fees, bank fees, or exchange rate differences are controlled by third parties and may not be refundable.

7. Effect of refunds

If a subscription payment is refunded, Clear Margins may cancel the related subscription and remove Pro access. You can continue using the free calculators.

8. Chargebacks

If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact support before opening a chargeback so we can investigate and help resolve it. This does not limit any rights you have with your payment provider.
